"Ferrier Hodgson partner George Georges said Sonray went into administration late Tuesday and it was still unclear how much money was held in the frozen accounts.
"We're still trying to get to the bottom of that," he said. Georges said Ferrier Hodgson planned to meet with creditors next week.
"They will be getting a letter in the next couple of days," he said. Georges was unable to say whether any banks had exposure to Sonray but said the broker's client base was mainly sophisticated retail investors."
