re: gip threat Problems associated with Egypt are mitigated by the fact that the government owned body is in a joint venture with GIP.

Secondly the cost of transportation which is a major issue is alot more costly from australia to european/amercian markets than from the Egyptian port of Alexandria. Especially when the major user of Tantalum is Italy!!
