not an employee - a shareholder (minor at that)
but, surely if I have X shares, the irrespective of the % I hold, my value is X shares by market price.
Given I will never control the company, my only interest is share price, not number of shares on issue, surely?
I also understand that the market cap is normally adjusted by the additional capital put into a company following a raising - so if its worth
275m shares x 5.3c = $14.5m PLUS
the $3.9 m raised = $18.4m
Given that the market generally responds favourably to both significant players taking a stake AND further capitalisation, my X shares should be worth at least 5.3c at opening. I dont suffer dilution, as only my number of shares is relevant to me, not %. On the other hand, if you meant a "consolidation" where they divide the number of shares by a number and mutliply the share price by same number, then yes, that leads to chaos and normally a price fall - but thats not the case here.
