MYR shorts -.46% to 16.05% today, says stockman.com.au, still by far the most shorted stock on the ASX. SP 1.345, beating previous price post-capital raise price (July 29) as I write (now down to 1.34)
There are few sweeter sounds for someone long a stock (me) than a cavalcade of shorts closing out their position by buying at whatever price they can - because they must. If this happens, the price will go troppo. Where would the shorts find 16% of MYR's stock? I'll let them have some at $3.20.
