grazer, as i said this is my completely lamen method..

Bring up a chart on comsec, change the Price Indicators and Volume Indicators to 'Simple Moving Average' - That introduces a pink and a blue line on the chart that both follow the pattern of trading.
You'll see when its in an upward trend that the blue line sits beneath the pink line - A buy/sell indicator for me is when they cross (pink going on top = sell, blue going on top = buy).
It's not perfect, but you'll see it's the same for all charts.
