    Hi Ronsterm,

"and if you drank too often then you might become an alcoholic. "

Not true. Been known for a long time that some are genetically more susceptible to addiction than others. Such a person could become an alcoholic with their first drink.
    Same applies to drugs.
And yeah, its probably right that the more they publicise drugs or anything, the more it comes to the attention of the young & they have to try it,.....

Lautrec, a deep reply, mate. I dont really know the answer, I guess like many i go by instinctive emotion & gut feeling, which in my case is anti-drug.And yes, i think alcohol should be included too, but that would be howled down by all....and I dont want to seem hypocritical 'cause i'm on record as a good drinker... balance & moderation depends on the individual & cannot be generalised.

DDzz, re "how many on this thread can live 100% without intoxicating substances, including red wine?"

There have been times when I would have drunk a beer wrung out of a Summo wrestler's jockstrap or from an Afghan's boot.....

    Bozwell,
Re " GZ I don't know or really care what your politics may be, or if you are just a sincere dupe who would retail any rubbish without checking."

Trully, mate, I have no ties to that Citizen's Electoral Council, but found their email controversial enough to stimulate debate. Politically, i'm a life-long Liberal and probably a dupe also, lol. i'm not really sure how I got onto their email list & didnt know they are anti=semitic, although I have been accused of being the same. I'm not.
I'm anti war-mongering Israel, with a great respect for Israeli Jews who feel the same.

Cheers to all & forgive my answe to all in the one post. Been off line & gotta go again.

    GZ
