    What one should really understand is that compensation to aborigines might not cost you any at the box office.

    The government has choices. It already rips enough from you in GST, Income Tax and company taxes plus stamp duties etc.

    generally as Parkinson's law maintains is that governments will tax until the customer complains and also that they wil spend it to the extent of the take or more.

    So refunding due monies as reparation is merely sucking ten bucks from a tax employee or not paying for victim supporters or cutting down on dog licencing policemen or diminishing the number of parking wardens or OSH inspectors or minimising the number of traffic light salesmen in Sydney.

    Basically just a rearranging of priorities.

    So don't treat the reparation of aborigines as a personal attack on your opportunities for personal wealth, unless you have a job described above. It is just an opportunity for a better society.
