In the spirit of this crazy thread I thought I might add some Sunday thoughts.
Novonix will apply & receive $100-$300m from this second batch of the DOE Funding announced recently.
Applications close March 19 2024.
The Grant will help fund Novonix’s portion of a Cathode production facility, a JV between LGES & Novonix, most likely located at LG’s site in Clarksville Tennessee but possibly at VW’s site depending on the size & legalities of the project.
And to step up the crazy the site will also house an Anode production facility, also a JV between Novonix & LGES. Production timeframe 2026/2027 for both anode & cathode materials.
In the spirit of this crazy thread I thought I might add some...
