People who promote the show of hands idea are not being logical. For business to operate efficiently those that have the most economic interest should be entitled to steer the company direction. If anyone wants to see the show of hands disasters - imagine the activists all with 100 shares voting to force the company in a certain direction. They don't have numbers right now because they know the votes will always go the way of the largest number of shares.
Really this is a naive argument - Meg knows who she has to influence and if the remuneration wasnt enough she would go elsewhere.
Lets just get on snd be shareholders- vote your shares and accept the system.
