Not a complete answer to your question but I'll touch on some other aspects for all holders.....and even the Board if they are interested.

John Helmer, whose articles have been watched for and read over here holds a view that MMK will suffer little or no reputational damage – in fact, the cost-free exit may look subtle, clever to some. By comparison with its (MMK) debt management problems and the bigger problem of volatility in steel demand, steel pricing, and the loss-making in Turkey, the disappearance of the FMS deal by these means looks small (and for MMK shareholders) beneficial.
