Leave the oil in the ground.

I wonder where the drill rig is …… just the latest diversion.

Surely given the closeness of the actual drilling, the drill rig structure should be on site by now …… then there’s the none too insignificant issue of some mention of the ‘drillers’ and support staff. Not the ones that cost $800k last quarter, some that are actually supposed to do some productive and income producing work rather than …………………….

No mention anywhere of a sighting! …… of anything.

15,000 feet into the earth is a long, long way, a smidge shorter than the wells just out of California, which I’ve personally been involved with, but still a long way short by comparison with 99% of other wells. So you can see my concern. Something should be in place by now.

I’m surprised, nay stunned, nay gobsmacked …… that there HASN’T BEEN A SIGHTING!

Maybe, as I’ve alluded to in the past, Range may just come up short by the knacker squeezing that’s going on! Delays suit some ….. esp the operators, ie; those in charge …… the one’s that Range sold the farm to!

Wonder why they sold the farm? …… Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Still, a good gig if you can stretch this out like two Scotsman fighting over a penny (that’s how copper wire was invented!) ….. great on-going salary! Why confuse things by actually drilling eh???????????? Too costly …… for some!

This is a generational project, and we haven’t got within cooee of the starting line yet.

NB: Better to keep a decent asset like this in the ground. For those that can’t see the logic behind this, go and google large privately owned world oilers and review their strategy.

Great for the balance sheet …… best real estate on the planet, don’t have to do any work. Just need a BRILLIANT LEGAL TEAM and the asset increases at an amazing rate!

Why bother working the farm?!

Financial sense suggests those who are able to take ownership of this asset, do so, and thus become a powerful regional force.

The bigger this asset is, the less likely it is to be commercialised

Worth noting ….. all the gold ever mined wouldn’t fill a decent three bedroom home!, (this fact can be checked!) Why commercialise the biggest remaining global oil field? Are the Africans that dumb?!

This asset wont be owned by a listed company in a few years. Who will own it tho’? Not too hard to figure that one out eh?
