I think this is probably where you are wrong. This is a country fighting somewhat for survival (I'm sure you know more about this country than me by the way), and I would have thought a large scale income producer was exactly what this country needs.

Cash is king... presumably the Govt will/has worked out an equitable deal where a truckload of the cash helps develop the country...??

I lived in West Africa (Mali) for a few years and they had little in the way of assets... but what they did have they were desperate to exploit because it was their one chance to incease their standard of living.....and this is not about having TV's.... it is about decreasing infant mortality rates, fighting AIDS etc... why would Puntland/Somalia be any different?

As to why there hasn't been a sighting of the drill rig etc.... I am with you Pongo... I would have hoped to see it by now.... the longer it takes the more disappointed I get.... however I am not at the stage to sell because of it.... I lived in places like this... I know it takes time.

I couldn't agree with you more..... this is a very long lead project.... maybe we will do our dough...maybe not..... but if Range get it right then there will be a lot of very happy shareholders. When we get to the starting line I would expect things to move quickly.
