Being a self funded retiree I would love that, but I am now very much more pessimistic than what I was 2 years ago. Why? Because the political situation now is such that there is no room for neither further monetary easing nor financial stimulus. What is in vogue now is AUSTERITY at any cost as the world is being governed by f... rentiers.
Gone is the sense of solidarity and social justice upon which modern Europe was constructed. We are now going back to a society where every man for himself is the rule.
