After I wrote this piece it got me thinking out loud could a partnership or something more intriguing be happening in the background and is this the reason why Dr T resigned his position IN THE INTEREST OF SHAREHOLDERS. Now if a BP thought this was an opportune time to get a bit (or all) of RAC with a low’ish offer and the good Dr felt underwhelmed with this, since he was the voice of RAC how could he promote this to all SHs that many are happy to follow his word. In this case if the other bod stated they were interested in pursuing this course he might have felt his only option was to quit and fight for a better deal from the outside. Just a thought and maybe wide of the mark but possible
