A lot of people will see the competition as a massive threat and while it is to a degree the largest players were always going to scoop up the largest market share and while i would have loved a duopoly of WBT and TSMC that would never be a reality longer term.
What gives me comfort in that competition space is the sheer size of those marketplaces, in embedded alone by 2026 it will be around 2.3b and that is not even accounting for discreet side of market. Having a first mover advantage will be key and then it will be about who has the best cost per wafer vs performance metrics.
