    Oh yes, top quality cheese in the stock with some little pasta. That would work. My problem was that I wanted to use some Pearl Barley. Just as well I googled first as it takes 30 minutes of boiling, so needs to be done not in the soup pot but in a separate pot.
    I think it still needs more cooking. I have a new tooth to replace the one gone 16 months ago and my brain is telling my cheek to get involved in the chewing process. I am expecting my brain to get its act together and recognise that my cheek is not for chewing on but the barley may be and the vegies too, if it wishes but not my cheek.

    It took me a long time to get another tooth due to my tmj.

    That's my story and it is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Unlike the cake when I fibbed about making it, because I didn't.
