I am always amused when intellects put their theories and hypothesis forward but I love when someone puts up a simple theory that leaves them gob smacked.
I am not convinced on the sea bed or bacteria theory.
The alternative to me is hydrothermal/volcanic or maybe meteor.
If it were hydrothermal, it must be a large event?
Deg has has the remnants of such a very large event including farno.
This brings me to the point that @Sharpey bought up.
The pfs will probably do sfa to the sp but the drill bit will keep talking.
I am looking forward to what comes from farno and as @gbgirl said, wait till we get some deeper holes.
I tend to think that Whitnell will go underground at a shallow depth but if enough volume is found to warrant an open pit, that is a juicy grade.
Wingina on the other hand could be enormous.
Clarke results are getting closer and we could see a wild card there.
Anyone wondering about the value of 1.6 g/t in the first 100m deep, take a look at Regis Resources.
Just over 1 g/t in their reserve and resources.
They are fairly deep and still produce at a good margin until last q.
They got smacked for that.
Don’t stop there, there are plenty of producers below 2 g/t.
I will let @WhackyWolly speak for himself and will be interested in his opinion but my interpretation is that he has already alluded to his idea of the origin.
I think deg board have also and it’s not the sea bed theory.
