Wondering if anybody has stumbled upon research material regarding the geological mapping of onshore Tunisia? I have tried to have a read on the ISIS CPR for Sidi-Daher but have not been able to track it down? Does anybody have a copy of the report?
While I am obviously pleased about the presence of potential traps and seals for all mapped reservoirs in the six zone, I really need to fully understand where the source rock for hydrocarbon generation and expulsion is happening. The level of thermal maturity of the source rock and migration paths needs to be fully understood. It is not just sufficient to see a good seismic mapping without understanding how it comes about geologically. Did ISIS confirm the integrity of the traps and seals for the well? On a regional basis, how many hydrocarbon working system has been identified? What type of rocks are the source rocks? what prehistorical temperature has the source rocks been subject to? Was a clear cut migration path identified for all the six zones? How has that been linked to the geological mapping? What is the quality of the oil type across the Chorbane permit/onshore Tunisia? I need to have a read at the geological mapping of onshore Tunisia and check against what was done by ISIS in the CPR. I know there has been mention of other leads on the permit and one needs to project ahead of future exploration on the permit.
I noticed that XST and ADX are using different recoverable figures based on respective CPR. I understand that the XST CPR was a re-map done by ISIS. Is it possible to lay hands both CPR?
