How is Lynas going to do the above when I thought it's been indicated that WA will not allow it?"

Zooma this question was dealt with in posts sometime ago and I sumarise my (uneducated) memories of the question.
1. The laws about returning waste to oz are Federal - not state.
2. The so called waste will if neccesary return as Gypsum which falls below radioactive levels that are classified as dangerous. I recall it is even below that which requires a hazardous designation.
3. We in Oz import gypsum from China anyway.
4. Even if it is not gypsum it falls below radioactive danger levels that might attract constraints.

Generally I recall vaguely that this was not an issue of concern.
More knowledgable posters than me can comment and correct or add to my decaying memories of this issue!
