Political Correctness, Inclusiveness etc etc are the new buzzword being pushed by HR and other external interests to the extent that that has somehow morphed not only into KPI's for companies, but also into the law....
I agree with many recent posts along the lines that we should be employing the best person for the job whether male, female, black, white or whatever.
I was genuinely shocked to see the gender and colour KPI's focussed so prominately in S32's results. Doing this may win over some lefties (but I doubt it), however, it also looks like as a business they are dropping the ball at a time when their Share Price is plunging and they have key business challenges.
Well done for the diversity stuff, but... but balance it out with employing the very, very best and brightest .... otherwise lets just watch our competitors employ the best and soar to greater heights.
