all the windmills are switched off due to the wind and the coal fired station at port Pirie was decommissioned. Torrens island is gas powered so not sure if it's just baseload . Anyway the only interconnector to grid has failed .the whole state is out. Who can watch the tv for news? Those without mobile interwebs maybe sit in the car and listen to reports. The worst is yet to come maybe. The season ending storms can do damage with fallen trees and lost roofs.
