It's been put on hold... couldn't get passed the first sitting in parliament... But Jay W wants this to proceed to a public referendum, however, due the the Labor Government Refusing to be transparent in its Financial difficulties the Public refuse to allow such a facility...The waste dump was going to be a cash for drum lease, where the Government was required to purchase the Holding drums at a lease contract for 200 year's and the Overseas facilities were to pay the fee for its allocation of holding area...however due to the difficulty of securing contracts for 200 years It would of become a poison chalice to future tax payers as Companies stopped repaying the lease contracts...
What SA needs is a nuclear processing plant that recycles the used waste into electricity, However the Public would refuse such a facility because of the bad publicity from MSM...
