It's funny, we want to acknowledge the ones we like and dismiss the ones we don't...age old story.

Would be good if the news was always good, but then I suppose there wouldn't be opportunity here.

My opinion...Uranium will always carry a geopolitical risk that I never see dying. That said, I am a uranium bull in medium/long term but certainly will have to deal with ebbs and flows.

Changing popular (or noisiest) opinion will always be difficult. Best result is always actions proving naysayers. But...As much as we despise (or at least cynical of)politicians, they are the ultimate pragmatists and understand that the wheels always have to stay in motion. Think of the illogical (yet purely political ploy) of Germany (green alliance) turning/phasing down their reactors only to buy it from neighbouring France! End to show up as a medium term disaster for them as once worlds most nuclear proficient country, now ditching nuclear. Logic would at least keep them for a contingency plan.

Everything is never as it seems...never has been and never will be.

Where I got this rant from after a long flight is beyond me. Just glad to kiss the ground again I suppose and realise that of all our problems we discuss here in lucky country - are at least first world ones!

Shame about the SML...coming soon I am not sure but picked up another 5m shares on weakness and ready for more, so not concern if they extend date(s). Its the (price of) off takes I am concerned about and, although I believe they have finance in the bag in any event. Still, I'd rather be PEN than any other speccie.

GT being doing some research and asked a lot of questions the last week about global conditions and likelihood of widespread calamity. End result. While I am guessing no, or at least spasmodic enough to be testing but not critical...my real answer should probably be: "I have no idea, flip a coin."

In any event, bonds, etc terrible so money can't sit on sidelines, so at the least I think most of us know enough smart money around the table to see movement. I don't see it. BTW...did anyone follow HFT stories last week - very big in US and very, very interesting.

My advice for 'things to do' before now and SML. Read a book.

Could I cover more topics in one post?

Hope all had a great week and a great Easter going forward.
