SQM data shows there is 45% more listings in September 2011, than the same time last year.
I drive down States Rd and Penny Hills twice a week and have noticed an ever increasing number of homes for sale.
As for why it's not showing up in the figures, I suspect it will. Normally the figures lag the market by 3 or more months. For example, the ABS will report the house price index on Tuesday for July-September so the data can be months old.
