The RWNJs are trying to use nuclear as a way of taking the focus off the success of renewables and hoping to perpetuate the baseload myth for their fossil mates.
The numbers for nuclear power in Australia simply don't stack up.
No doubt you have seen the list of questions l regularly post about nuclear power in Australia. Despite posting the list for a few years now, not one hc nuclear shill has managed to supply any answers. Not one. Ever.
Further to that no politician, has answered those questions either.
The CSlRO GenCost22 report also confirms the impracticality of nuclear power in Australia.
Nuclear power for Australia has been the subject of a parliamentary inquiry in 2020. lt concluded that there was no appetite for nuclear power and that's why you haven't heard any more about it.
ln short , anyone claiming that nuclear power is suitable and/or practical for Australia is a liar.
