POLICE and car maker Holden have used satellite-tracking technology to find and disable a stolen car in the first operation of its type in South Australia.

About 2.30am yesterday, a Tennyson family woke to hear an intruder and, moments later, their 2003 Holden Monaro was stolen from outside their Military Rd house. The owner contacted police and Holden support service Holden Assist, who tracked the vehicle using its on-board Global Positioning System. (more.........
