Below is a long section view of the drilling carried out at Sly Fox and Plymouth from July announcement in 2021. There has been considerable drilling with grades near surface generally around the 1 to 2g/t and it gets slightly better as we move deeper. The deepest couple of holes are around the 4-500m range. Nothing to suggest this is anywhere near the Never Never class (which I believe will some day be recognised as one of the best gold-bearing orebodies discovered in Australia for a long time).
Not quite sure what SL has seen that has him singling out Sly Fox in the latest presentations. He mentioned the veins are wider than originally thought and the rock setting is similar to what they’ve found at Never Never.
The assays we are waiting on aren’t testing any deeper than we’ve already been, more-so targeting that area between Sly Fox and Plymouth. Have they discovered mineralisation in that area between the two deposits? Interestingly, the deeper holes at Plymouth do look enticing ([email protected] and [email protected]).
Anyway, that’s my amateur take on Sly Fox, I can’t imagine consistent high +5g/t hits but I won’t be complaining if they come. The team did it at NN, and they’re on a roll, so I wouldn’t bet against it.
