Hi guys

Have a look on this site to give you an idea of which way the groundwater flows. Make sure you click on rivers/lakes on the extreme right of the screen.

Cougar's site is on the south western side of a large hill at Coolabunia so logically the majority of the water would flow back toward Kingaroy and the Gordonbrook Dam. Some water would no doubt flow to the south & then find it's way into Barker's Creek on onwards to Bjelke Petersen Dam near Murgon. Unfortunately this map does not show Gordonbrook Dam but it is on the river (Stuart) indicated on the map flowing just to the west of Kingaroy and is just to the north west of town. Boondooma Dam is indicated near Proston.

Where the aquifers flow is another matter.
