From Google Earth you can see surface levels at Coolabunia
are significantly lower than Kingaroy 10 km to the north-west.
The aquifer being tested is I think an unconfined one at about 60-90m depth ... unconfned aqifers generally follow landform which in this case is clearly draining in the opposite direction.
The lowest terrain in the region appears to be 15-30km to the east.
And, per my previous post, groundwater movements are inexoribly slow.
Your post is a little strange ... what point are you trying to make?
