its a 99 year lease not the freehold, no one goes to the islands much now, in the 80's the Japanese were buying up to bring Japanese tourists to them, now its the Chinese, they can't float them off.l
anyway the HK compnay that's bidding for NSW power has owned the SA power grid since 1999.....
