Not really, Cerro Matoso is the only S32 asset that is making a loss and they were planning to cut production and staff this month or next month anyway so it's a preemptive action by the employees.
There has been a big sell off in commodity stocks these few weeks so I suspect this is the major reason for the share price dropping 15%. If this continues, they question is will traders invest in commodity stock with good balance sheet or will these stock follow the downturn in share prices?
