I understand your argument but you’ve failed to comprehend that our world is trying to transition to more renewables. In Australia about 25% of houses have PV installations. The power to recharge your EV doesn’t necessarily have to come from coal, gas etc. As we move forward we need to reduce the burning of CO2 to provide energy- an EV makes sense. I don’t see hydrogen as the answer and coincidentally neither do the Chinese so IMO its dead in the water for the foreseeable future. I have written previously posts about the various safety issues regarding hydrogen also - it’s far to dangerous.
