Hey @FrankBurns, always loved M*A*S*H, specially Frank. RIP Larry Linville. If you are a fan, you might remember Robert Duvall played Frank in the original movie, but Larry really nailed the character.

Yes, this is not the Peace Train, more like the Orient Express, never know when you might get stabbed in the back !

Anyway, always like to keep the conversation lively. Nothing too nasty, but irony is not appreciated here most of the time ! Like my post about GGG going to $30 haha. Hyperbole in the debate but some don't see it and take it for real. Oh well, like I said, keep the conversation lively.

Holder and believer in EPM (although I'm still unsure of their management, but that's another thread started by you know who) you will notice I don't trash the stock for no reason, only point out issues that investors might consider. Take it or leave it, does not worry me.

I have been in and out of GGG for a bit. Not overly concerned and can afford to do my money. That's what you expect in a speculative stock.

But here's the thing - while Poke and the others like to trash it - the recent movements in the politics is a welcome change. Gpoe, me and others believe that there is political compromise coming. See my other threads about this over there.

It is in everyone's interests to put this Ur thing to bed once and for all - and, no, the solution is not to ban the Kvanefjeld mine. The GoG knows it. It is certainly in the interests of EPM to have the sovereign risk reduced.

The company has signaled that it would consider court action if the mine was banned for purely political reasons. THAT would increase sovereign risk for ALL considerably even though some here would deny that. Having a multi-billion court case hanging over the investment community in Greenland would not be a good thing and reasonable person could see that. Not saying that the company is trying to threaten the government. But the government has engaged with, and encouraged them, to keep pursuing this mine albeit the politics have changed. So it is not unreasonable for them to seek to recover all the funds they have expended on this project and seek compensation. Sound fair ?

That was the point in this thread - some have said that sovereign risk has diminished in the country. I would beg to differ, but I will defend their right to free speech any time provided it is not fake speech.

BTW Hot Lips was always a hottie, movie and series !

Cheers and have a good week.
