i hope i am wrong too for those that are still holding.
i guess my view is if management were ever going to get more from bhp, they would have done it back then.
they at least would have brockered a more favourable deal where other bids were allowed and where UMC would have been able to shop it around.
basic stuff. and they stuffed it up imo.
the deal was sealed back then.
