It depends on when a Trading Halt is called and for how long.

If the 'tentative' date of 26th is not achieved and there is a delay then that would also need to be announced on or before the 26th. A delay is quite possible as the date is clearly marked at 'tentative' which allows both parties flexibility.

'If' SSN decide on a three day trading halt prior to making an announcement on the 27th (26th US time) then that will only leave 4 days of trading this week.

The announcement could come earlier than that.

The announcement may be confirmation of sale, indication of delay or failure to make the sale.

Very challenging environment to intraday trade, or short term trade. This is the pointy end of the transaction. All traders should have a trading plan that includes a profit trigger or stop loss.

Any one interested in a short to medium hold should also have a contingency plan if the the sale is delayed or does not go through. It may mean waiting another week or two for the sale to go through, or for another buyer to step up. Weigh up whether or not SSN is still an attractive investment over the next month or two.

I believe SSN is an attractive, high potential investment, but not without risks.
