Interesting info. I was curious so looked up the historical price of EAR and announcements.
The first becoming a substantial holder form from NST to EAR was actually on 5 Sep 2019 (after the 20 Aug 2019 takeover offer), at a whopping 21.58%. BUT they had to legally disclose transactions dating back 4 months which showed huge share purchases as early as May 2019. Could have easily been transactions earlier than May that did not need to be disclosed.
And during the period they accumulated, the share price did not much at all, or went down
So SP doing really well, gets absolutely smashed from ~23c in the space of two months, and then NST just happen to have a massive chomp when the SP is down at 14c... And continue to accumulate without too much change in SP...
In any case, looking forward to what tricks get pulled out the bag today in the never ending SP olympic games.
