Hmmm maybe I was wrong???
Can anyone confirm this? I always thought you had to be on the register at the record date to be eligible to the dividend otherwise the company won't have you on their register.
Since there is 6 days between ex div date and record date and people sell on ex div date... they will no longer be on the register by record.
Confused.
