I am sorry to repy but there is so much rubbish being posted here I have to say something.
The ex-dividend date is all that counts here - not the record date.
If you buy on ex-dividend date or after you do NOT receive the dividend. If you buy before the ex-dividend date you DO get the dividend.
The stock is quoted CD (cum dividend) when dividend has been declared but has not gone ex-dividend. When the stock trades ex-dividend there is no dividend. For CFE the stock traded ex-dividend on Thursday 24th June 2010.
If you guys can't understand that then you should not be trading or maybe you should because more fools in the market more dollars for me...
