Great article. A good example that fracking can be done safely and compatible in rural areas that is comparable population density and environment to that of Northern England by responsible and professional operation following safety and environmental regulations.
But the big question for UK shale are: Will the government lift the moratorium and the traffic threshold to allow safe fracking operation? Will the government accept 3.5-4 M maximum seismic activity as in other UK industries ? And Will there be enough recoverable gas to make economic cases for shale gas??
