Mental anguish Legume, mental anguish!
No seriously, I have seen how there are algos which keep trying to close the share price of stocks down by half a cent in the closing auction for stocks in the 10-30c range. Not pretty what they do. It may be technical, to create ugly candles, or psychological, to force weak holders out.
