In my opinion it is highly doubt EOF would want to take over EXL, for a start the food business would be incompatible given EOF’s ‘grow in Australia’ strategy.
Plus for CBD, CEO Wang has said that he is wary of distractions and even specifically mention that there is currently no desire to expand to Europe (where EXL does have pharmacy customers and EOF does not).
5-1 share swap would be ironic though considering just before EOF listing, EXL had 3 times the market cap.
