Whilst I don’t really go in for the “it’s being manipulated” lines too much, it does seem very bizarre to me that we were, at one point, worth 35c when the Razer deal was announced, and now we are 6+ weeks on (with the merchant base seemingly growing), the market thinks we’re worth almost 40% less. What is the logic? The answer has to be, it’s not logic. It’s panic and negative sentiment (or, yes, possibly something to do with the insto trades we see on the broker data). There’s been no bad news from the company, they’re just quietly getting on with doing what they said they would.

I think the opportunity in Asia is fantastic and that BNPL is here to stay. Perhaps it will take a while to crack the overall nut but I’ve got patience to wait. We also have some considerably experienced people on the management team who have done this before for successful companies like iPay88 and MCash. If people are made nervous by the current SP, go take another look at the scope and success of iPay88 and MCash. Neither operation became big in just a few months. It took time and lots of quiet execution behind the scenes. Why would IOUpay be any different, with the same people at the helm?

The good news is that many if not most of the impatient punters should have sold out already. Good luck to them all.
