One of the worst examples of incompetence was squandering $NZ 900 million from 70% of Tower Co sale on share buy backs over $5 and over indulgent dividends. Now their debt is less than ideal, the tide has gone out and the embarrassment of reality revealed.
I hope they have the integrity to be accountable at the next AGM instead of deflecting like spineless cowards.
I thought my average of $2 for a 'defensive' company was decent, but I was wrong.
They need to pay down debt with remaining Connexa sale and forfeit dividends till their balance sheet is under control.
