This comment interested me, and I realise you're looking at volume traded on the NZX. Now, I don't profess to understand everything about dual listing shares.
Why would it occur on one board and not another? When you consider that the NZX closes before the ASX, wouldn't that type of abnormally high volume then affect trading on the other?
I have a theory that it's more to do with indexes, as it's the third Friday of March and I have noticed a number of users have commented on unusually high volumes made after market on Friday on other shares I follow, which makes me think it's just institutional trading rather than anything remarkable. Happy to be inforrmed otherwise if it is significant and learn something here too.
