I doubt there would be a 0.75 cut from the reserve bank. If there was then it's likely they were panicking. In that scenario would you want to be invested in NZ equities?
It's more likely we follow US fed cuts. They have front loaded a big cut. I would hedge 50/50 on NZ's next cuts being 25 or 50 bps. 75 is a tail scenario for me.
And, yes, the dividend is paid in NZ dollars so you get less when converting that to AUD if the FX rate drops.
Dollar cost averaging is probably a good plan.
