Why does it 'hurt'.
Price is what you pay, value is what you receive.
Assuming you were happy with the fundamentals when you bought, that you did a analysis of the intrinsic value of the share price (according to your benchmarks) against the share price at the time. You should be ecstatic, now the share price is dropping. It means you get more value for each unit of share price you buy.
I don't get it.
I bought my first position today.
Happy to slowly dollar average, and hopefully, the share price can drop back down to $2.50 odd.
Price is what you pay, value is what you receive. In my opinion the equation is becoming more balanced, ie between share price and intrinsic value (hence my 1st position, but not betting the house on it!!!).
Everyone needs to do their own homework on what the 'value' is. And then compare it to the share market price.
Its not rocket science!!!
