Remember Yellow Pages that got sold off for good money now yellow pages is nearly worthless I am thinking the same for the mobile towers now mostly sold off. Spark can now choose towers or satellite. But like you say hard to predict future competition outcomes from satellites but maybe towers will have to lower prices to compete with satellite systems to stay relevant. I am thinking local companies will still survive if they can package fibre/mobile and other future subscriptions to users as they have large customer base to leverage.
