yes totally agree with your points, isn't looking at the rear view mirror a wonderful thing
But we make our calls based on the current, and with extropolation into a guestimated guess into the future. I thought the economic barriers were stronger for SPK, I also didn't expect senior management to have such an 'ostrache in the sand', where they hired for primarily their DEI skills
Anyway, upon admitting one is wrong, then the next stage is to be honest with oneself, look at the sizing on the position, look at ones evolution of future financials, look at risk (by reviewing the balance sheet).
And then make a call:
I prefer to live another day, I might get this double wrong by selling down, but my preference is to live another another day.
Mr Market doesn't give too stuffs about me, I might be a future saint (going to rely on alot of hotcopper love lol), but that won't help when it comes to Mr Market, one thing I really respect about Mr Market is he is completely agnostic, does care who you are, good or bad, you are all treated the same
When the facts change I change, what do you do sir? Well the facts have changed, and I need to reduce some risk.
Still have a position, just much smaller, both through selling some shares, and the shares selling lower themleves.
This goes onto my internal watchlist as to what do do next, but I really don't want to dollar average further, unless i see some turn around.
