You will need luck, as well as everything else, to time entry points. You may look back on this post and find that $10.48 *would have been* a great entry point.
If you think a stock price has potential upside, buy it.
I also hold APT and countless punters on HC have missed excellent returns waiting on an entry point that was a few percent below the offer.
