    well good thinking, reit's where hammered in this down turn and GPT has a good balance sheet now and is selling down non-core assets , the future growth will only come from its 100% owned commercial business, GPT also might tie knots with stockland in the future and will have the benefit of maybe a take-over [if at realistic price]with the current situation it is better to buy an reit at these levels then park your money in a bank or even buying a residential investment. As feeny pointed out it really is at full value at the moment , but when things change this can run a lot harder then money sitting at 4-5%...There are many to choose from and depending what your looking for GPT is the 3rd largest in aus but also has had massive dilution from 2 capital raisings , so pick and choose the right one for you.
